TD first possession and driving on the 2nd....6-6, 100+ yds and a TD and in control.

Wasn't the talk in spring that Castellanos was dropped to 3rd string or worse and that's why he bailed.

I think he expected to be the guaranteed #2 and the future #1 here and didn't get that guarantee.

Just turned the game on. Have no idea who that

Typical of u. No class. Having lost friends in the 9/11 terrorist attack makes your statements even more disgusting as you try to get a laugh again. Sick !! That guy saved voluminous lives in the attack while you stayed in your basement saying outrageous things on forums.

Hold up big man. I think you are out of line. I turn on a game, watch 6 seconds, see three jerseys with last name For Welles. I make the statement must be a big family. And you flip your sh*t. You never even said what the reference was.

I had to Google it because the announcers said nothing. I don't know any coach or player named Welles, much less one from Boston College. It is a guy's first name, not even his last name or whole name. The twin towers were in New York, NOT Boston. It is NOT Sept. 11. This guy just happened to go to Boston College, per Wikipedia.

There is literally no way I could have known that. You have climbed to the very top of the ladder of inference. Stop being presumptuous! I meant no disrespect to the guy, who I had never heard of because the event was 20+ years ago.

I actually went to and was educated at UCF and one of the things I learned was to think before I spoke. For you, I think that ship has sailed though.

A famous quote attributed to Abraham Lincoln “ it is better to be thought of as stupid then to speak and remove all doubt”

He just wasn't guaranteed the job....period. You're talking out your ass when you make the claim that he wasn't the qb of the future at UCF. That was TBD.
Everything is speculative. The problem with him is we got a freshman quarterback here they are extremely high on and we also have a recruit from Jacksonville who they are high on for the future. Presently Timmy was above Castalanos. I don’t see any scenario where Castellanos would’ve ever played meaningful time in the big 12 where we had a real chance of success ( outside of injuries). Castellanos is in a good situation with a lower level P5 team where he’s getting a chance. Happy for him Jmo

Ignorance is simply the lack of knowledge, either in general or about a specific issue or topic. Stupidity refers to the lack of an ordinary level of intelligence, wit, or quickness of mind.

The wit was obviously there.

The irony is that Castellanos the coaching staff and prior to that the entire fanbase was high on him. Then he got mismanaged all season and put in an unfavorable situation and suddenly the next recruit is considered the future.

As of now I see a player on the field delivering and the only thing we have is a recruit with speculation.

Give Timmy a chance at least

I agree he was put in some real bad situations where he wasn’t ready or prepared

He got to play in the AAC Championship game. He was slated for a red shirt, but he got to play for a league championship with a chance to play in a New Year's Day bowl. Let's not act like any real football player (save Mikey Keene) would pass on that.

And it was as much his fault as it was the coaching staff's. Just like it was Paul Rubelt's fault that he wasn't ready when he was forced into action against Duke after Tylan Grable was injured.

If only he actual had snaps in the three games he played prior that wasn't just handing the ball to an RB.

He looks really good though.

We lost TC and Keene, but hey, at least we got 2 more games and 4 more INTs out of Plumlee.
You sure all those INTs are Plumlee’s fault? TC might look better at BC because his receivers catch and his coaches know how to call football plays.

In 15 games at UCF, JRP has 17 TDs and 12 INTs. The two against Boise might not have been his fault, but his overall TD-INT ratio is terrible.

That’s no lie. I’m just getting to be positive about JRP because we have no other choice.

I think TMc is a much better all around qb for this system than TC based on what we have seen, even with what TC has shown at BC. Either Gus & Co had TC so ill prepared (possible) or TC just wasn’t ready. He was DEFINITELY mismanaged by burning his redshirt, but that isn’t what made him transfer. TMc looks more complete and better suited for this offense and qb2.
