This was an email UCF recently sent to Shareholders (and I have permission to share here).

======================

As we promised to do on a prior Shareholders call and in response to the many inquiries at the game, we wanted to update you on our TDT progress.

A special Board of County Commissioners meeting has been called for Oct. 3 when we will make another presentation to the six Orange County Commissioners and Mayor Jerry Demings. We are grateful for another opportunity to tell our story and share our vision for the future of UCF Athletics.

We have a lot of positive momentum and want to continue that momentum over the next few weeks leading up to the meeting. Here is how you can help:

  • Continue to thank the decision-makers for their public support via email and social media
  • Continue to share game pics, positive stories, etc., with commissioners via social media
  • Continue to ask for future support of UCF Athletics projects and share how our Big 12 Conference membership will provide great benefit for UCF and Orange County

And, finally, we owe you a great big thank you. We know you have made an impact on county leaders and have helped us share our story. We know our wins on the playing surfaces are great, but our community impact is much greater. We attract visitors, we fill the workforce and we educate young people as we strive for championships.

We look forward to hosting you on campus again soon.

Go Knights and Charge On!
