this had to be hard for both men....Dr. Hitt to encourage his good friend to retire and GOL to actually go through with it...

but this is best for UCF and these men deserve credit for making the right move for the program....we'll never know the conversation and/or agreements that were made but, as long as it does not fiscally impact the program significantly, it was a great decision and accomplishment by both men...congratulations to both of you!!

now let's turn the page and make this the next step in the growth of UCF football...the program, the donors and fans....let's all pull our weight and help make UCF a perennial CFB power.. ...

are you with us?

Only 28 of Hitt's 70 friends showed up to homecoming game and Hitt made the tough call.
Interesting about money deal. GOL gets $200,000 per year until 2020 but not last 2 months.
We don't know what George got as temporary A.D.

I'd be pissed if I was George but business is business and just think of all the revenue that
UCF is losing from football program for ALL sports this year.
