and out played.

-How the heck can you run such vanilla middle school plays over and over again (GOL trait).
-I didn't see Stanback in until the 2nd half
-FIU knows we run run pass...run run pass....run run pass...wtf!!!!
-I saw ZERO new creative offensive plays...what a bunch of crap that was pre-season...new plays..yeah
-Holman can't throw past 20 yards...so let's keep trying it even though it doesn't work!!!!!!!!!!
-I did not see us run one sweep, no option, and 1 trick play where Patti ran the wild knight!!
-This was an absolute joke...a failure on GOL and Brent Key.
-Defense? Tackling was atrocious!!! Could't get to the QB.
-Defense...middle was always wide open
-Typical 1/2 time, go in the locker room, NO ADJUSTMENTS, come out worse int he 2nd!!!!!!
-Seemed like FIU wanted it more.
-O-line, Holman wasn't sacked (maybe once?) but this is a work in prog.

Who am I mad at????..GOL and Brent key!!! Anyone could have coached a better game. GOL standing there like a lump of emotional-less mush! No fire, no urgency!!! WTF

Where's out NEW PLAYS?????

When down like we were, try something different!!! What got me was running the GD ball up the middle 3 times for losses near the end of the game....call me crazy but ANYONE could have called a better play series here.

We've got so much potential and GOL just set us up to fail last night!!!!

When do we ever outcoach anyone?except for Baylor we win because of superior talent and not coaching. In the AAC we should have the talent advantage in just about every game, that's why we win. If we had coaching to match the talent we'd run the table and win all OOC games except against the truly elite.

Wilson played better than Stanback so I'm glad he started. He appeared to be injured after halftime on tv.
And the only reason Patti got that wild knight play was because Holman lost his shoe on the run before.

You are correct HOSE! I was thinking about that last night. Unless we get lucky with super athletes (JJ, Blake, etc) GOL cannot coach!!! I've just had it with the bullcrap!!! Embarrassed on national TV again!

Agree 100% with all of the above. It was a complete clown show that the entire nation got to watch. We lost to a program from a far inferior conference (C-USA is nothing like it was when we were in it) by showing up with coaches completely unprepared and players who were even less so. We were out-coached and out-classed. And we want to be in the B-12? Gimme a break! While I don't attest to being a football coaching expert, I certainly know that going for a Hail Mary on a 2-4 and a 3-14 run up the middle (that failed ALL NIGHT LONG) with a minute thirty on the clock isn't a winning game plan...

We ran ZERO running sweeps, ZERO trick plays or whatever one would like to call them (option, flea flicker, ______). We did however keep running the same useless running plays over and over. Yeah, none of the long deep pass plays worked because we were double covered and Holman can't throw those. We're paying GOL alot of money for a middle school coaching mentality.

I don't care if people want to criticize GOL's decision-making in the FIU game, but I don't get the "emotion" argument. Mike Kruczek was more outwardly emotional, IMO, but it didn't help him win any more games for UCF than GOL has. Also, I had a pretty good view of GOL talking briefly to the defense on the sideline after they gave up a few big plays . . . trust me, there was nothing passive in his expression at that point.

Kruz had a good play calling mentality (especially for too much passing :) ) Well, that was GOL on a few plays. Whre is GOL the whole crappy game? And his response blaming the players 100% at the end? :-(
