1. What could have been if we hadn't dug ourselves a big hole at the start of all 3 periods - 18-2 in the 1st half, 9-0 in the 2nd half, 7-0 in OT.
2. I've always believed that any successful team requires a warrior, someone who wills his team to win, and just daring them to lose. Calvin Linglebach (who was at the game today), Cleveland Jackson, James Walker, Gary Johnson & MOD all had it. Brandon is getting it. Fearless penetration, crisp passes, and baiting the opposition into TOs. Great game!
3. Stephon played 39 minutes. A heroic effort with good results. Now just stop the dropped passes...
4. We were a spunky team today, one who clawed back many times to take the game into OT. Just imagine the eruption had BJ hit that 3 to end regulation.
5. Speaking of spunky, there's this one Knight Moves...
6. Except for a couple of episodes in the first half when he lapsed
into his "I'm going to dribble the ball away, no matter what (including
missing a wide open BJ for a 3) mode, Daiquan had a helluva game. he's a
better defender than Adonys right now and certainly isn't as timid. Key
baskets and assists to keep us in the game.
7. UCF basketball has become exciting again over the last 3 weeks!
