Just read this and that's incredible. Only the NBA is higher with $5M per player this year, although it's a bit skewed since there are so fewer players per team. Just 46 players will make the league minimum of $507,000 this year.

It's good to be a ballplayer these days. And salaries will only increase as more and more teams are signing $1B regional TV deals in addition to the TBs/ESPN/FOX deals the MLB itself signs.

The Dodgers are paying Kershaw and Greinke combined nearly $50M.

Kershaw is the richest pitcher to disappear annually in the Playoffs.

You mean Single A and Rookie league players? I know that AAA guys aren't making that. Probably not even AA.

The Single A Phillies' players in Clearwater rent homes with 5-6 guys in each during the season.
