Yep, some groups have now asked some things to be redacted or even changed, based on their recent committees and related, open comment engagements. They are now using 'descriptions' as the 'solution' but are refusing to change any texts.
It used to be that the US preserved all history, good and bad, so we learn from it. But now we have people actively attempting to whitewash and censor everything. I don't know what to say, because it'll just backfire more and history will repeat itself.
We cannot cancel history.
