Most people would probably say the "game over" moment was when the FG attempt was blocked in the final minute. I disagree.

Trailing by 1 with 10 minutes to play, UCF had a 4th and 6 on the FIU 41 yard line...and punted. A punt that was called the worst of the worst of week 1 by this guy: http://www.sbnation.com/2015/9/8/9272303/puntagrams-punting-is-evil-hisssssssss (the only saving grace in this post is that the writer mis-identifies our opponent)

And the result of that punt? A touchback and FIU got up to the 40 in just three plays (only to fall back 5 yards and have to punt themselves. So instead of telling our team that we have confidence that you can go for it in a close game (or even that our defense could hold them for 60+ yards), we wimped out and gave the other team the ball.

And this isn't the first time GOL has wimped out in enemy territory. He's done so on a number of occasions. So while UCF had a chance to rectify this cowardly blunder with a FG attempt at the end (which was in and of itself another cowardly move) this play was more deflating and demoralizing than the final one. Winning teams do not punt in the 4th when down and in enemy territory.
