The Atlanta Braves. For game 5 of the Nlds the braves removed all tomahawks from the stadium and discouraged the chop because Adam Hasely, a Cardinals reliever who is about 1/1000 Cherokee like Elizabeth Warren, claimed he was offended. To be clear the Cherokee nation has endorsed the chop multiple times.

As a lifelong fan like @happyhands I can live with the Braves choking in the playoffs. But im not going to give anymore money to an organization that throws away their Traditions for a SJW pussy on an opposing team. Where does this bullshit end?

As a lifelong die hard Braves fan, I agree. Apparently the guy speaks fluent Cherokee, that’s pretty cool, but it’s annoying.

And then they go and give up a 10 spot in the first inning. Needless to say, drinks are flowing tonight.

Dude is whiter than me and Im Scottish/Ukranian. But yeah, he pitches on the opposing team and is offended so lets toss 100 years of support aside for the snowflake reliever. Smh

so many indian orgs have come out and supported teams like the braves, seminoles, etc with their use of the tomahawk and their chants. this is just dumb

one of my friends is a lifetime braves fan and he said the same thing. hes not going to support the team anymore.

When we lived in Virginia, I became a big Redskins fan back in the Joe Gibbs era and still follow them.

Now I know that the Redskins name is, without question, The Most Racist Mascot Name in all of sports. Intellectually, I realize it has no place in our modern world. But emotionally I can’t accept changing it because, in my fan mind, it’s not racist, it’s my team’s identity.

It does give me some empathy for our Confederate-loving Southerners.

I just wish snyder would change the name to something like "wifebeaters" or "ethnic cleansers". If people are going to be outraged, may as well give them a reason to be.
