It's impossible to say which QB is the the one we should be counting on going forward. When you know you have to throw the ball or start scrambling within 2 seconds on EVERY SINGLE PASSING PLAY, there is absolutely no opportunity to showcase your true abilities. Even Tom Brady would struggle if he had to play with our line protecting him. Toss in our WRs continually running the wrong route, and passing becomes a hopeless pursuit.
If, somehow, we could get our pass protection to improve for next year, then maybe the QBs will begin to operate closer to full capacity and we will know who has the potential to lead us going forward. Until then, we may as well just throw Tristan Payton back there and let him run the Wild Knight.
