👀 this whole forumgrown men being so butthurt is amazing to me. whiny bitches.
I follow the Jags because they represent my city. They bring a ton of money to my city. They bring the people of my city together and they bring awesome people like Trevor Lawrence to my city. Jacksonville will be absolutely nuts when the Jags win a Super Bowl. The Jags have done so much for Jacksonville, that I can't imagine the city without them. What we are seeing before our eyes is the erosion of passion that makes up college football. Many of us here recall tge glory days where a player was recruited to play for our school. He rode the pine as freshman , became a sophomore played and by their junior and senior years started. The players were loyal to theor school and we were loyal to them.
Now it's turning into ...how much does he costs and can we win with him ..it's only a year ,so we gotta win now . There is no loyalty ,no passion, it's just bring a guy in and we hope we can win .
I don't follow the NFL. Why? I have no emotional connection to a business . I am brand loyal though. I love my Toyoras and Hondas . I will never buy a GM. In sports I need that connection and for me it's my school . DG is all about DG but so many players now days are abd because of NIL and the portal it's crazy to assume these guys transferring in have the sane passion for UCF as we do. They simply do not .
So I'm turning into a foster kid. You know where people come into your life and you know they are temporary. So you just don't get attached or emotionally vested . That's what is happening to me for UCF .
At least in the NFL most guys are signed to multi-year contracts and are around for a few years. It's not "every player is a free agent at the end of each season." The college game has been a much higher priority for me over the last decade. My "time" is shifting to watching more NFL games, as at least you can watch a team/player develop. In college, right now your biggest hope is watching a player be a starter for more than one year (before they transfer somewhere else). What we are seeing before our eyes is the erosion of passion that makes up college football. The NCAA created this in a sense. It’s always only been 1 year contracts. Teams usually didn’t force guys out. The kids had to leave. Now they are. Until they make them sign multi year contracts it will be like this.At least in the NFL most guys are signed to multi-year contracts and are around for a few years. he uses more like the NFL in a negative sense when it has much more stability to watch players as a fan right now. What college football is doing is making it so chaotic that eventually fans will tire investing in it and good coaches will leave bc they get burnt outAt least in the NFL most guys are signed to multi-year contracts and are around for a few years. I doubt he plays in nfl. At best practice squad. He’s small and only ability is to throw the go route. I don’t see him being an NFL 2nd string even. That’s why he’s still in college. No he beat Texas at Oklahoma. That is his crowning achievement. He is a good player - do I think he is loyal? Not really but I wish him well. If he plays football in Florida at least with Jax and Tampa.
He went 17-8 at UCF and 16-8 at OU. He has a record of 33-16. I think he will play in the NFL, just not sure where.

Coaches/schools need to be capped. Can't call it amateur athletics when $100 Million dollar contracts are handed out.I have mixed feelings. You know the kids get pretty beat up, so a little coin in their pockets, I'm ok with. But making it essentially a pro sport? Nah, that needs to be fixed. The kids need to have a max cap - say $30K/yr. The remainder can go to charity of their choice.
I thought he had a chance at the NFL but the decision to continue to play in college makes me he think he doesn’t. Next Fall will be his 6th on a college campusI don't like him much at all, he couldn't win a big game at UCF, but I'd be willing to bet he gets into the NFL. He may not ever see the field, it may be 1, 2 years, but he'll get there. Maybe he'll have some success, I don't know and won't bother to care.
