I wanted to move this quote over from another thread. It is from RJKenn
"No one enjoys watching this team lose games. But did anyone see CJ Jones' body language or his facial expression after he fumbled the football on the field and on the sideline. CJ was devastated. He was trying to make a play and ran into another UCF player. The collision caused the fumble. The players are giving their best effort. This team is young and inexperienced in several areas, injury riddled and suffering from attrition of experienced players through graduation, players leaving early for the NFL or leaving the team for other reasons, and years of NCAA scholarship sanctions. Give these kidsand coaches a break."
Some of you probably saw that I stayed after the game so I could "talk" to the coaches and Dr. Hitt. I also wanted to see how the players were handling things. I can tell you that they are devastated and embarrassed. I saw CJ and he looked like his dog just died. Bo and his parents looked so upset. Tyler Harris was a mess. I don't know who the OL was (i recall him being #70-something) and he hugged his dad and started balling. These kids are not quitting, unenthusiastic, like someone posted elsewhere, or not affected. They are taking it very hard.
I told Key and O'Leary to resign right to their faces, but I was only encouraging to the kids. Lets be careful what we post about players individually or as a group. They are just kids (though we are paying for their education), but the coaches don't deserve any slack. Just my $0.02.
