The president we need

Well it doesn't matter what we need just what we have today and will have very soon. Today we have dementia man, soon we will have take a knee Kamala.

Whats funny is that we dont need a "critical race theory" that will make the kids "hate thier country". Good ol" "American History" courses have many stories on the historical hypocrisy of the "Land of the free". Slavery Jim Crow laws and the massacre of the Native Americans are pretty common parts of the American History curriculum. 🤷

Nobody said there wasn't dark parts of American history just like any other country. The Irish were even slaves which almost nobody knows. America is still the place where you can start at the bottom and become a multi millionaire.

There is no way to fix the past but we can sure do better in the future.
If you want a better future you need to KNOW your past, how it connects to NOW and LEARN from it so that you do better than your ancestors. People like J. Edgar Hoover was a HORRIBLE and EVIL man. Yet we have hundreds of schools and the FBI headquarters named after him. The vietnam war and the fact that we dragged Americans out of thier home and FORCED them to kill people in another country was a travesty. The draft should only be used if we are "physically" defending the U.S. If we dont take the time out to look at and learn from our past, then we will never have a better future. Just look at Afghanistan. You would have thought we would have learned from the Russia/Afghan war in the 90s how things would play out. But instead we did the same thing but spent more time and money in afghanistan than the Russians.

I'm not kidding when I say DeSantis is the greatest leader of modern time. Think about the pressure he was under to close restaurants, theme parks, schools, etc. He stood strong against the propaganda media against him and we stand today with a much better economy than if we had a beta liberal running the show. Jobs would of been lost, tourism crushed, and schools closed. No issues
Yeah, the Florida economy is just purring along, right? :)

Thanks to the rapid vaccine rollout, the number of covid infections as well as the covid death rates are going down. However, Mister "No Issues," Florida has the third highest number of 7-day average deaths in the country at 74, trailing only NY at 85 and Texas at 143.

We were open long before the vaccine rollout. Keep up.

And we are the 3rd largest state. Your stat just proves that it goes along with population for the most part so commie restrictions did little except destroy jobs and mental health.
We are also the 5th oldest state in the union with very large populations of seniors in very tight densities. For reference, Texas is the 4th youngest and California is the 9th youngest. Of course, with Texas you are also dealing with the absolutely huge influx of covid-infected immigrants (legal and not) streaming across the border to be treated. So it's not just enough to look at the number of deaths and think that that in any way captures the story.

Of course, you're not that stupid to think it's actually that simple so you're just playing your Go Team Donkey again.

With a much lower median age than Florida.
And California has a lower population density across the state than Florida. The metropolitan areas in CA are more dense but not by as much as you may think as LA is 2nd in the US with Miami being 4th with nearly the same density in the metro areas.

Look how GREAT Florida is doing!!!
Facts presented.
Excuses made.
Now where were we? Oh yeah, look how GREAT Florida is doing!!! :) :) :)
Let me bring you back to reality.

You presented one fact.
You were presented with multiple facts.
You went right back to gaslighting.

I'm beginning to think that you have a pathological disorder.

I didn’t read all the banter, but California is more densely populated than Florida in areas people live like San Fran, LA, San Diego, etc. NY is even more populated. It’s not even close. California also contains a mostly uninhabitable desert across a large portion of the state.

In hindsight restrictions probably weren’t a large factor in curbing spread. It’s hard to know for certain since there is no baseline without restrictions. The main factor based on areas of high spread in the US and abroad is localized population density. Florida had problems in Miami, but LA alone is 10 times as populated as Miami. If you have ever been to a city like San Fran or New York these are not comparable to Miami in terms of population density. I contend there would have been a quicker spread earlier on without the restrictions but part of their effectiveness is the willingness of the populous to participate in them. A year into a pandemic, the appetite is not very large to continue to have restrictions. Even if following them would be effective, there has to be a willingness to do it.

I remember pointing this out pretty early during the pandemic. Since it started in NYC, the numbers grew exponentially but that was largely because they rely heavily on the subways and also have an extremely dense population compared to the rest of the country. People all over the country were freaking out because they thought NYC was going to be a typical scenario when there was no way in hell that would happen.

The LA and Miami metro areas are not that different in terms of density. I’ll give you SF but then SD and the rest are not that dissimilar from the Florida metro areas. FL also has a much older population and thus more vulnerable to the disease. And we spend more time indoors because of the weather and thus are more likely to catch it indoors. Suffice to say, they are comparable given the totality of the demographics.
