Hey all, here's the extra information I promised a few days ago. Was looking for a slow news period to drop this.

Danny White has had quite the busy schedule since officially beginning the UCF job on Monday, Dec. 14. Pretty much every day there's been a lunch or dinner with a prospective donor specifically for the purpose of lining up contributions to the UCF Football Excellence Fund.

If you've been following along in the previous thread on the subject, five $100,000 pledges have already been announced with the latest being from Mike and Jennifer Palmer. Some were already in the works and others came forward due to the recent changes.

Here are some tidbits from those who have met with White:

-UCF's goal is to reach 40 pledges of $100,000. They wouldn't turn down the full sum if one had it to give immediately, but installments are fine ($25K over four years).

-It's been described as a fund to aid in football expenses, such as uniforms, helmets, salaries, facility upgrades, recruiting expenses, etc. At this time, it's not geared towards a specific facility objective but the long term goal is to construct a new football facility adjacent to the stadium with soccer/track moving into the existing Wayne Densch.

-The contributors will be included in a new "inner circle" at least as it pertains to the AD and head coach. The previous inner circle or "power brokers" as they've been called had mostly been limited to a small handful who were close with Dr. Hitt and GOL. That group was fairly inclusive.

Here's the brochure that's being circulated to prospective donors (click to enlarge):
