The status of UCF hoops

It might be time for our AD to look at both programs (I know not many care about the WBB). Right now both teams suck and in truth it is dragging the reputation of UCF down. In the long run this is not good (an understatement). I cannot believe coach Williams was given an extension. Both will use injuries and youth as excuses. BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

The NCAA passed down penalties designed to hurt the BB program. Guess what we are at the end and as a rule of thumb, most damage we will receive right now. We have talented frosh right now, but no depth, We have what is likely the best ever class coming in next year. I never thought this was going to be a good year, anyone who did was delusional. Next year should be better, and hopefully 2 years from now much better. Woman's I can give no opinion on, I don't pay any attention to it.

I am knocking you for not following the women, but that is an issue that should be addressed. The team does not have to be a UCONN for us to support them. These ladies are D1 athletes too. .

Pittpal, I am completely in favor of having more support for women's basketball and all other UCF sports teams. The problem is that there isn't a large enough fan base for UCF athletics. You, me, and every other diehard UCF fan there is now can only attend so many events. We need more fans for every sport across the board.

Didn't you at one time...(and/or still do it now) work UCF Women Hoop games?

how does the womens coach, who is also a coach on the US team, not get better recruits? I know we are getting a girl from West Palm next year that is good, but that wont be enough.

I think it'll be a year after that. Too many new faces that haven't played D-I ball in a year at the least.
