Reparations hurts them. Free college hurts them. Forced Medicare for all hurts them. If they were smart they would abandon the first two and advocate for a public option on insurance, which they could probably get passed regardless of whether they hold the white house. They won't do it because they know that if it is implemented then it would face constant budget scrutiny and ultimately fail because the only people who would end up on it are those who use more healthcare, so private insurance policy rates would come down.
