Sorry Harrison Ford you were lying. Or maybe you weren't. It's just a giant coincidence that hostages were being held until the exact moment that $400M in unmarked foreign bills were delivered in an unmarked Swiss plane 40 years after after it was seized.

Hey at least we have some good news. Obama thinks American citizens are worth $100,000,000 a piece. I better stop talking badly about him or he'll only offer a dollar for me when I'm kidnapped.

This one was against specific treaties which is why they used hard currency. If it were so in the open then why use an unmarked plane, foreign currency and not let congress know what they were doing. Face it GKS, this administration tried to hide what they were doing but simply too freaking dumb to get away with it.

I can't speak for that particular occasion, but there was a little thing called the Iran-Contra affair that was like this except it had middle men and Israel involved.

Hey, 'we don't negotiate with terrorists' is a great quote, but that's not always how things actually work out. Pay for them or don't pay for them, the important part is trying to get people back.

The difference is one was issuing weapons for or allies. The other was a cash payment to our enemy.

Negotiate their release with cash for sure . Then have a squad of seals take them all out and retrieve the cash about 30 minutes later
