The worst story you will ever read

When will it become obvious to republicans that the goals of right wing media include promoting a racist world view. This story has no political connection and only exists so their readers can see black people committing evil crimes.

If its all about clicks find me other stories on The Blaze that include no political connection like this one.
WTF are you talking about? It matters not the race of the perpetrator. What matters is the guy killed a 5 year old at point blank range.. Some of you guys are Scarry. Oh,let's burry the story because it doesn't fit the narrative. I am 53 years old and never have I read a story so twisted that grown man , a 25 year old thinks I am going to kill that boy in my yard?

I don't see it as race issue and I clearly don't see it as a political one either. y'all need to realize that not wvery story has to have a political angle . This story is about the lack of humanity of that Dbag who went wacko. Why can't that be enough? Why does it have to have race or politics here? Guess what , if you want a better world stop looking at every issue ,every crime , every thing through the lens of politics and race. my opinion of that guy is based on what he did not the color of his skin. You know MLK once said judge a person by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. I am guessing this lowlife has severe character flaws. He just so happens to be African American. Does it matter? an innocent boy is dead.

A lie? I have irrefutable visual evidence. :)
Talking-Bull-(Nathan-Phillips)-sm.jpg
I watched the video, all of it. The kid stayed quiet and the media escoriated him. That young man is worth tens of millions because of how the media distorted this. CNN and the Washington Posts have settled for significant money in the hundreds of millions. So, please tell me, if the media didn't do anything wrong why would they settle for that kind of money? They settled because a jury would have put them out of business. That kid was maligned. Period.

Guess what , if you want a better world stop looking at every issue ,every crime , every thing through the lens of politics and race.
WTF? We should stop looking at every crime through the lens of politics and race??!? Who's fault is that pray tell?

Guess what, this story was highlighted by a national right-wing blog and then transported to this message board by a ring-wing poster.

The Blaze only covers political news stories. What's political about this? I know you wont reply to this because you never do but find me one other article on that site without a political angle. They are all pro right wing talking point stories.

Whats the talking point on this one? Unless you think this is the first article in the history of this site to be reported without a right wing talking point in mind.

Ill tell you, the talking point. Its "black people bad"

all I did was put Covington kid settlement in the Google machine and voila. Washington zpost settled for $250 million. if they were so in the right you would have seen a $50,000 settlement to make it go away.

Second, I really think this hyper political atmosphere is toxic to our nation. it's is absolutely ridiculous to constantly inject race, politics and so forth into everything. i take the position if you want to make the world better we all need to start off with forgiveness, then love, then serve in your local community to help young people, feed the hungry and so forth. Do you guys honestly believe politics would have prevented this shooting? Sometimes the unexpected, the unexplained, the irrational behavior of our fellow citizens simply can not be explained and definitely can't be solved by politics. Politics divides us as it is played out in America in 2020. Political solutions are not always a good route to solving social problems which are often matters of the heart and soul of an individual.

The deep flaw of the left is this. one, you can't change people's hearts with violence, anger and politics. Two, time after time after time we need to stop jumping and assuming before we get the facts in on every story. I don't know what motived that 25 year old to shoot that kid. I don't know his heart. I don't know his story or his life . There are a million reasons why potentially he shot the kid , but do I think simply because he is black that he shot that boy because he was white? nope. Until the DA proves motive , I have no clue. I do know at best the guy is severely mentally ill and needs help and at worse he is just a twisted messed up evil human being.

I don't personally know any of you here. I likely don't vote the way many do ,but I am willing to bet we have at least 80% in common for what we want our world to be and I am also willing to bet the 20% we disagree on is how we achieve the 20% not the 20% itself.

I love my country. I love my town . I help those in need and do my best without prejudice. I grew up in Seminole County went to Lyman High. I wrestled in high school . I had white friends, black friends, Asian Friends and Latino friends. What I see today is far worse than it was in the 1980s.

No sir, that's what YOU see. I didn't see that at all. I don't think black people are bad and I don't think all white people are racist. perhaps you might want to consider another possiblity regarding the news sources. maybe ,just maybe the Blaze Reports news stories and let's the chips fall where they may. and Maybe , CNN intentionally hides news stories because their biases are such that , oh, this black guy killed a white guy and that looks bad for our mission or agenda?

I am saying stop the agenda bull crap. The story on it's face is tragic. It's tragic for that family and it's tragic for the man who did the deed. it doesn't change anyone's votes for anybody . it's a tragic senseless murder . That's what it is unless or until evidence suggest otherwise. I read the story and others injected racial overtones and assumptions.

curious, what degree did you earn in college ?

Shook Chicken gets his news daily from DaiLyKos and the HuffPo and he is here crying about The Blaze. He’s such a disingenuous shit.

Straight up I challenge you to find any single news article without a political spin on The Blaze. If youre claiming they just report the news I want to see their other nonpolitical reporting. Just link a story or 2. They post dozens and dozens of articles all the time just sift through and find me all these nonpolitical stories they write like this one.

LOL---Maybe, just maybe, that right-wing political blog reported that horrific crime story to trigger Chuds like you. Clearly it worked.

And Smirking Boy?
It's old news -- but for the record -- your Google search gave you Smirking Boy 'settlement' stories. But if you go beyond the headlines, you'll discover these stories didn't give you the dollar amount that these multi-million dollar suits actually settled for. The smirking boy lawsuit -- and those like it --are what they call in the business a 'nuisance lawsuit' that gets settled for peanuts simply to get rid of the stupid thing.

I started a thread that quoted Biden where he used that word. The thread was deleted.

I feel like another thread was deleted last week also. The one discussing racism through human history. Why was that deleted?

Is it what you actually are seeing ground level with your own eyes or what is being shown to you?

I often struggle with making sense of this.

I wondered that myself. I didn't think any part of the discussion was offensive but apparently someone did. How can we ever try to be a post-racial society without talking about how we got where we are?

Edit: the thread wasn't about racism, it was about the cycle of different civilizations that rose and then fell behind others as they rose. Its not racist to say that at one point in history the Persians were far more advanced than anyone else, or that east Asia, Mongolia, southern Europe, etc experiences the same thing.

I'm sure it had nothing to do with your provocative thread title. :)

Well not to revive that thread but I guess the issue is the metric used to rank civilizations, which I think was part of your question. There are obviously some ways that are better (ie more sustainable and harmonious) than others that might never rank high in the Power Rankings. So to your point what is advanced? I can definitely see moving to a more holistic and civilized way of living that would seemingly appear less "advanced"...if ones definition of advanced is cool technology without mastery of living in harmony with the natural world and each other.

What was the root cause of their failure? I've spent no time studying this.

I made that same point recently. Can't remember if it was on a message board or conversation but yeah; how can you say that one way of life is better than another when ultimately the only thing that really matters is the happiness of an individual?

I'm interested in what caused the rise and the subsequent fall, and why they have happened in cultural segments as opposed to being widespread as a whole in any given time period. There seems to be a religious aspect to it, which to me is fascinating because that is now kind of counter to science.

Dude, I am not triggered. I don't care about your opinion of the Blaze or any other news site. you do you. it's one of many sites I check for stories . The difference is between what I surf and what you surf for news is likely this. The websites I go to don't pretend to be something they are not. CNN, NYT and the Post to name a few claim they are some centrust news organization. it's laughable. I would respect them a whole lot more if they just said it. Hey, we are a socialist rag and that's how we see the world. They don't , they think are this unbiased truth seeking group. Nope.

What ever you think of that young man , that's on you. I sought out the entire video and it's clear who was in the wrong in that encounter between the high school kids and the adults on the street. The media was in the wrong in my opinion in how they treated him. They saw a hat and judged the entire situation, framed it to show only one side of the event and folks who hate the red hat ate it up as proof to validate their views of Orangeman and his followers.

Again, I will repeat it one more time. When I read the story, as a parent and a human being my immediate reaction was wow, a 25 year old guy shot a 5 year old kid point blank range. Hard as it is for you to grasp , I did not see race . I did not see wow black dude killing white boy. I saw an adult killing a child for no reason. I did not see race as motivation. I did not see a hate crime . I saw tragedy of humanity. I am holding back any judgement on motive here because I don't know the facts.

Then I read the reactions here and a few here immediately drew lines like on a conspiracy board in their parents basement how this is going to fuel white supramacy and how it's going to hurt the narrative of BLM and how the Blaze is somehow virus signaling . I just wow, put the Koolade down.

For the record, I think people are people regardless of their DNA. Most Americans want similar things, safe place for their family, they want family, they want a job or career and they want kindness and respect . Doesn't matter who they are or where they live. You can join the race stuff ,but I don't see life and people through that prism.

Also, I live in NC and today I am packing my son up to move him into a new apartment to come back to school at UCF. So, y'all have a great day . Be productive as I will be heading down I-95 talking with my youngest about football and the Marching Knight's! Charge on..

Congrats, by my point isnt that you saw race or not. Its that most of The Blaze readers will. The article is one of only a very few "non-political" stories they cover. Theyll post about rape and murder and theft and evil things but only when its being done by minorities. The Blaze doesnt report on those crimes typically, only when they can use the crime to paint minorities as less than human. It is a political blog so when you see a nonpolitical story you should examine the motives for its inclusion in the blog.

Yes, I believe that it was. I thought we were having a good discussion and were respectfully discussing a sensitive topic with some actual honesty and there were many people making points that aren’t normally made because of PC. It might have been a slight bit uncomfortable but you’re going to make me uncomfortable when you challenge my beliefs, and vice verse, but that’s how people change their mindset.

Apparently, though, some on here can hurl the vilest insults at other people In 90% or more of their posts and that is just fine.

Maybe, just maybe, the Powers-that-Be thought it wasn't a good look for the site to have something about racial supremacy in a thread title. 🙄

If I had titled it "white peoples history of racial inferiority" do you suppose is would have been deleted?

Interesting that this is considered acceptable by the left.
It may have been considered acceptable by the Powers-that-Be of the NYT, but I personally wouldn't have gone there. IMHO, being deliberately provocative -- be it the NYT or a Crazyhole thread title -- isn't the best way to engage in a genuine discussion.

We don't know if that execution of the 5 year old boy wasn't political or racial motivated. The msm, sports stars, and political leaders are pushing that race narrative 24/7. Instead of getting out and supporting each other they are creating hate.

You don't get it. This asshole went to jail immediately. That's the end of the story. It's a very sad story, but that's the end unless there is some weird motivation that involves other people. The stories that you do see in the national news are unresolved. Amaud Arbery's killers were free for months, when they went to jail the story went away. George Floyd's killer was free for days. When he was arrested the story went away. Breonna Taylor's killers are still walking free, that's why it is still a story.

Taylor's story is the one that should make the biggest change in law enforcement policies. The Floyd deal is much more convoluted when we consider the question "what can we do to stop this". No-knock is a recipe for disaster and is incompatible with the idea of encouraging people to legally protect their own home with firearms.

Okay, I'll bite. How so?
I think I just explained it. No-knock puts a lot of people in undue danger. There's no reason that police can't arrest someone without busting down the door when they have no idea what's on the other side. Wait until they come out, surround the place and give the occupants notice of what's going on, find a way to isolate the alleged criminal somehow unless there is a clear danger to the other people in the building if they don't act immediately.

Let's get back to what is right and wrong instead of the race division.
Yeah, this Is all about law and order, not triggering racists. [eyeroll]
