Between the increased shootings recently, the imminent Derek Chauvin result, the covid stuff, the immigration issue, Portland being under siege, the middle east starting to collapse, potential gun restrictions, and a dollar that is failing, I think we may be nearing a seriously bad situation in both this country and the world as a whole.

Would it really surprise anybody if we found ourselves under martial law by the end of the year?

  • Chauvin result? TBD.
  • The COVID stuff? Dramatically improved since the Biden Administration took over. We should have most everybody in the country who wants to be vaccinated vaccinated by late-June.
  • The immigration issue? Yep, still an issue.
  • Portland under siege? Portland under siege??!? That's news to Portland.
  • The Middle East in turmoil? What's new?
  • Potential gun restrictions? LMAO. You've GOT to be joking, right?
  • Dollar is failing? Nobody can predict the future but our economy is clearly picking up steam again and financial experts are predicting a blockbuster year for the market.
Given where we've been recently, the future look a hell of a lot brighter than it did at this time a year ago.

You're living in fantasy land if you don't see how perilous this countries position has become. It's been going on for a while, and if you think that somehow things are better than they were a year ago then you've got blinders on.
 
Other than the mask police, Things are going well with Covid, outside of a couple of areas. Biden handlers deserve credit for that. Everything else is a dump fire. And his handlers deserve credit for that as well.
 
Biden hasn't done Jack crap on the CoVID stuff. He is riding the Trump Train into the station. he just got on board and because his son was on the BOD of Amtrack he just rode it. Governors ,like Desantis , worked with their local communities to get the CoVID vacine rolled out ,it wasn't Biden or the CDC or Fauci who did the heavy lifting ,it was the states and their local partners who did it ,like I don't know Publix.

What I can't stand is how an angry mob storms the House of Representatives and some a holes sit on Pelosis desk and that's an insurection,yet BLM can fire bomb an ICE building and attempt to lock people inside ,thus actually trying to kill them and that's just BLM blowing off steam in yet another peaceful protest . Please tell me how American cities and federal buildings burning and attempted murder is not an insurection?

Tell me how New York giving a check for $15k to illegal immigrants is either good or legal when we ignore homeless veterans and never mind the tens of thousands of families who lost their businesses to COVID Government lockdowns? The immigration problem is a problem because the left does stupid crap like this and some how we refuse to enforce our own laws.

I have hope Crazy because next year is 2022 and the House and Senate will no longer be in the hands of these people.. Granted Republicans are spineless and don't stand for anything but at least the leftist constitutional hating idiots won't be in charge .

How? Specifically how? He inherited WARP speed and again the STATES ,not the Feds , are implemting the roll out of the PRIVATE sector developed vacine . What exactly did Dementia Joe do to take Trump's supposedly failed vacine program and make it work?

Well the J&J vaccine has been pulled because of blood clot issues. That one is on Trump for rushing it onto the market. Oh wait, when was that one approved?

I continue to be amazed at the sight of our resident Trumpet spin doctors STILL TRYING to use the Biden Administration's vaccine distribution success to craft a 'Trump win.'

We've talked about the 'specifically how's' here a million times but you choose to ignore it. The Biden Administration found there really wasn't a nationwide vaccine distribution plan in place. As with everything else about the Trump Administration's amateur hour, it was left for the States to figure it out on their own. It wasn't until the Biden team took over that it could be genuinely said we had a nationally-coordinated effort.

If we had reelected Trump we'd be talking about putting the virus behind us in late 2022 for crying out loud!!! Instead we're on course to get everybody vaccinated who wants one by the end of June.

But feel free to ignore reality and keep spreading your bullshit. The Presidential election was stolen too, right 🙄

the Trump administration wouldn’t have implemented the FEMA sites which have been a success and lowered the stress on State sites and retailers . Especially during that critical first month or 2 to get those over 65 vaccinated . DeSantis originally rejected the Biden Fema offer trying to be a partisan then flip flopped on the offer after a week or 2

And the FEMA sites have been so successful on getting it out with walk ups/demand that when it was announced the camps would be wrapping up distribution in a couple of weeks DeSantis asked for their stays to be extended.

Trump deserves credit for Operation Warp Speed and the development of the vaccines. But absolutely blundered the distribution. There was no federal plan for distribution for vaccines purchased by the federal government. Which is why in December only 1 million shots went out when the goal was 20 million and the supply was there. The heavy lifting was left to the states, there was no coordination, and that’s why it was so willy nilly until Biden really got things going February/March.

And 7.1 million doses of J & J given out, 6 cases of serious clotting. 0.0000008%. Unfortunately putting this out there and stopping use probably just did a lot more harm than good.

He lied about it from the start (to the end). He downplayed it. He undermined the public health effort and his own staff. Basically a textbook in how to fail.

Yet here we are within 10 months of the outbreak a legitimate vacine created and in use by Christmas. Biden said there was no vacine coming within a year or more and yet there it is.

Look, I am libertarian kind of guy . Trump was not my hero . However, I can see how the American press screwed the guy and honestly they screwed us. They peddled lies as well and misinformation. You know that story about HCQ and all ? I have a sister in Jersey that got the Rona a few weeks ago. in Jersey HCQ is outlawed to give to Rona patients. Well , in my family we have folks scattered all over the US. Let's just say my sister in Jersey got access to HCQ . She was sick as a dog ,then HCQ arrived in the mail ,she got a Z pack and took zinc . Immediately within 12 hours she was much better.

So the media lied about HCQ ,some states outlawed it simply because if politics not because of science. BIden is not the CoVID savior here and at best he inherited a good start up.

I have said it before. I tend not to give a President credit for good times nor do I criticize too much when it sucks. Our country is bigger than one person. My day to day life should not be impeded or benefited by a single person 700 miles away from me. I don't want a benevolent king , I wish the president actually had less power. With that said I find it laughable that the media calls this guy a hero but their blind burning hate gives Trump zero credit . That's the issue for me. Trump did a lot right and he is thrown under the bus by the press.

Let me get this straight: You want to defend Trump's handling of COVID-19 pandemic by pointing to the American press and saying they "peddled lies and misinformation"? WTF??!?

Look . I have issues with the orange man. he is far from perfect . he has deep flaws. However, I don't trust the American media at all. They absolutely hated the guy and they would never give him an ounce of credit for anything. So, I don't drink their Kool Aide . Now you might , I don't know. I am a fair person and between Trump pumping R And D money in warp speed and the men and women scientist doing yoemens work , we got 4 vacines under a year .

President Biden had zero to do with any of it and Trump helped make it happen. The real credit goes to the people researching it and making the vacines. Stop pretending Biden is the CoVID savior because he isn't . He inherited a great achievement and pushed the ball some . Let's be honest we would have just as many people vacinated today regardless of who is President. My cat could be purring in the oval office as President and we still get 40% vacinated .Why because state and local efforts and the efforts of those evil pharmaceutical companies .

Biden sat in his basement for most of 2020 and he didn't do jack. Heck the guy believes Kamala Harris is the President . lol.
 
Also, the Biden claim that the Trump administration had no plan for distribution was an outright lie. One of a multitude of lies Biden has already told about COVID, the border, election laws, etc. Where is the WaPo lie tracker for the Biden administration?

The Feds are responsible for getting it out to the states. Bidens people have done a good job of doing that. There was little that could be done on Covid before meds and vaccines were available. The CDC wanted a 2 week lockdown Trump gave them that, He set up the system for the vaccine to get out in record breaking time. The only thing I see trump not doing was a nationwide mask mandate, and to this day it is questionable how much or even if that makes a real difference. If biden wants to get it under control right now, seal the southern border.

But he downplayed the severity of the virus when everyone was freaking out and buying all of the supplies out at the stores, thus causing even more issues. Apparently what they wanted was Trump to freak everyone out even more that COVID was an existential event for the human race so that people would do, what exactly? What would anyone have done differently that would have "stopped" the virus if Trump would've gone all gloom and doom?
