A 73-year-old Purple Heart Vietnam veteran and pastor James Cusick has been arrested at his home in Florida for being at the Capitol on January 6, though he was not involved in any violence or vandalism.

January 6th was definitely not a good thing, but they are putting an awful lot of effort into arresting old people and non-violent offenders over the whole deal. Arresting people for what will end up being a misdemeanor charge of trespassing isn't exactly helping to heal the nation, its making things worse. Biden should step in and pardon everyone that didn't steal or destroy property that day.

It's always interesting to see lefties use this against people they don't like.

The right says we need to detain and forcibly remove undocumented residents because they waste taxpayer money, and the left argues about civil rights.

But then the left doesn't like alleged violent militias and alleged public land squatters, so they want the taxpayer to use their guns to forcibly remove and even kill people. All the meanwhile, the government is found guilty in a court of law of pushing special interest by having prosecutors put defendents under double and triple jeopardy as well as taking back land until even the BLM is read the riot act by a judge for spending 100x as much taxpayer money with contractors than the taxpayer allegedly 'lost' with alleged squatters to only destroy the very land they re-acquired for the taxpayer.

You just cannot make up such gov't incompetence and injustice like that. Everyone should read up on what has been going on out west, and how bad the judges are literally throwing the book at the US gov't about things, which the US Media refuses to cover because they demonized the innocent or the people who did a far better job at taking care of land than the BLM did after taking it back (and spending a crapload of taxpayer money with contractors).
