Oleary did go back and forth with Godfrey and Bortles though a few games. Also with Greco.
Geez, could have gone another couple of decades without being reminded about 2008. We started/played several QBs and they all sucked:

Greco
Calabrese
Weatherford

Collectively, their stat line was:
43% completion percentage
1,395 yards (127 yrds per game)
3.9 yards per attempt
12 TD, 11 Int

Ended the year getting shutout….by UAB….. at home

Calabrese and Godfrey both did ok as Freshman. At least enough to think they’d get better. Never did. Just became receivers.

Wrong, they shouldn’t be in the same sentence.

One guy had a 39% completion percentage and threw for 600 yards

The other guy completed 66%, threw for 2,200 yards, ran for 600 yards, generated 23 TDs……and beat Georgia in a bowl game

I hate 2 QB systems and going wildcat too much . believe all it does is ice your own QB
How about designing some plays that puts them on the field at the same time? Now that I said that I'm not even sure how I feel about that question.

If we put a true QB out there it would make sense. Using Bowser with an obvious run is kind of dumb. Plumlee can run routes and catch. Put a QB back there.

2006, 2008, 2011. All examples of using multiple QBs not because of injury (2015 Holman got hurt; We played two other kids before Holman came back….a disaster) (2003 QB got kicked off team and we had to use one or more guys the last several games…a disaster). All bad seasons.

If you like a 2 QB system what do you do when one QB is playing great? I guess it wouldn't hurt to spell the main QB once in awhile if it looks like he is losing focus. But basically I feel it is important to stay with a QB that is on a roll.

Just win baby! We have 2 starting QBs with wildcat. Just add change up QB to the formula when offense is sputtering for a series no matter the starter.
