Corporations do it all the time. Nobody would notice if you cut 10%. Probably 10% don't technically work anyway. Pump the savings into building roads, rails, etc.

Maybe start requiring more accountability from government employees? Like corporations do? Thoughts and next steps?

This is Government, reducing is not allowed. We are not yet full blown socialist, we have fundamentally reformation that needs to be finished so we can be more like Democratic wet dreams.
