While it sucks to lose someone who had playing time as a true freshman. We knew he only came because of Gabriel. Least surprising move so far.
Expecting JFlash to enter any minute now.
He was pretty good for UCF. I thought it risky to have a freshman for punt returnee but he did pretty good and towards the end was getting more throws. Bummer he is leaving. Hopefully DG is telling him how cold it is in Oklahoma right now. Toto, I don't think we are in Honolulu anymore...

What good are recruiting rankings anymore? They are now complete garbage because of the transfer portal as well. Whooppeee, we got the #23 class….and then 2 years later half have transferred away.

The team had a coaching change a lot of players came to play for a different staff, but stayed for another year to see if they would be happy.
Everytime another school has a coach fired or departs, you see a thread on here about poaching their players and a mass exodus from said team.

This probably ends the Hawaii pipeline, guess KZ isn’t trying to talk these guys into staying at UCF anymore
At some point the transfer portal is going to produce an all star team as the elite players stay in touch via Twitter and all determine to go to the same team.
The crazy thing about this year’s mass exodus is that usually with this many players leaving you hear about discord between the players and coaches, or that there was a “toxic environment.” We haven’t heard anything like that, doesn’t seem like players are particularly unhappy playing for Gus.
Agreed. Maybe it is a delayed exodus from the coaching change? It is a very different offense. I can understand why QBs and receivers would look elsewhere. It seems like a dual threat, run heavy type QB would be a good fit. I LOVE the shorter game times, LOL. Last year it seemed like we had a lot of 4 hour games
2 years in a row we lost a high rated freshman WR. Credle last year. I said a few months back we were going to lose a bunch of guys. I didn’t think it would be this much high profile guys but we only signed 15 during early signing. That was all we could for the most part because of all the transfers we brought in and the scholarship max dropped at least 15 guys for next football season.

Not a surprise at all. As much as he was hyped and he was good; the direction of the WR recruiting would have left him behind. I thought Gus treated this kid very well.
I do not wish him the best of luck, seems like kids now do everything for the likes. I narrowed my top 10 teams, now too 5, top 3, and 1000% committed. Decommit same day and now 10000% committed to new team! Transfer after one year.. alright let’s get some more likes!
I think Quan seems excited. Alot of those transferring are “not gus’ recruits”
It does kind of suck for us as a fan right now, but if we are truly the “future of college football,” we need to embrace this transfer portal thing as something that is… the future of college football.

Anyone on here ever change their mind when you were 18-19?
He owes this staff nothing either, they didn’t even recruit him. I wish him the best of luck, I bet he could really do well somewhere in the Mountain West Conference.
Maybe you guys could relax on the DG socks jokes after 5,000 times as well, is it really adding anything to any off the conversations on here? He’s gone, oh well.
