To UCF fans from Houston Cougar Fan

I realize this is a dark hour in your short but storied FBS football history. Losing is painful, and transition of coaches challenging and uncertain.

But take it from a fan of a school that has witnessed your potential at UCF and amazing recent past- this is a blip on the radar on your journey to a P5 destiny. You're gonna come back with a vengeance.

You have the TV market, demographics, stadium / facilities, economic capacity, and recruiting base to recover short term and thrive.

Your rivals/ conference mates at UH know what a great program you have, and are honored to be in your conference and are proud of your recent past.

The epic thrashing of Baylor was a huge inspiration to UH fans and your dominance of our series has earned our respect. We're glad you're an AAC member for now.

Keep the faith Knights- this season will hopefully serve to make your program's boosters more committed than ever.

UH, Memphis, Cincy and UCF are all P5 worthy given the past five years' bodies of works. One bad season doesn't destroy that.

Bad years happen. UCF has a young team that will get better. Our schools are fighting the same battle to get into the P5. Loved it when UCF beat Baylor.
