I tend to agree but you forgot the “hopefully”. We still don’t know if this is seasonal.
mlb regular season starts in two weeks. I doubt seriously that it’s gone by then.
All 30 teams play their first regular season games in 15 days. Please explain.

In one day Brandon went from calling it "hysteria" on this message board, to the president canceling all travel to and from Europe for 30 days, March madness likely being canceled, the rest of the NBA season canceled. One single day.

Correct. Used the word hysteria in his initial post on sports leagues closing down. While that maybe seemed correct at the time just 24 hours later most were in agreement that all the steps that leagues were taking was probably sound decision making now that we see what happened with Gobert and the NCAA scare last night.
i understand why they are all doing. i just think the fear is overblown by the 24x7 news coverage.
If you pay attention to what is happening in Italy, I don't think anyone can say it is overblown at this point.. We need to be taking this seriously to prevent ending up in Italy's situation.
i think the corona virus is very similar to the flu. basically its going to make its rounds and most people are going to get it. its going to suck, i am not trying to downplay that part, but at the end of the day the vast majority of people are going to recover. the only issue is the eldery. then again the flu already does this and some argue the flu is worse than the corona virus. we dont shut everything down because of the flu. i think its overblown.
No one who says it's overblown has had any reason other than their gut feeling at this point. If we start to see evidence that we're coming out on top then yeah we should back off the fear reporting but I think it's appropriate to scare people right now. They should be scared.

We have a flu vaccine though. A lot of people don't get the flu, get a lighter case of it, etc due to flu shots. We don't have any immunity to this or any sort of vaccine to prevent the spread.
Yep. This is unchartered waters for most people, especially in this country. I don't understand why some people refuse to take it seriously.
Most people feel like they can't do anything about it. But if you take action that stops you from getting it then you probably save 10 people from catching it from you. If everyone lowers their exposed chances by even 20% it makes a huge difference in the case load that medical professionals have. Sure, you'll probably get it anyway but you don't want to be the one taking a ventilator away from someone who needs it.
People in general are nasty. How many people don't wash their hands after the bathroom?

Saw an article this morning that France reports 2 out of 10 don't. Fvcking disgusting place.
I dont think they know, or at least havent said, if he got it Australia or already had it when he left for Australia though. His wife had a concert in California within the incubation period, so it is possible they caught the virus while in the US. But Australia seems to have a pretty good handle on it as of now.
in the streets in California, the Corona might not be that bad. 
I hope they did get it in the US. The more widespread this has been domestically the more it becomes obvious that it isn't as dangerous as it is being portrayed today.
