Agree. We were going to "Pound the Strikezone". Pitching in College Baseball has become like Rocket Science. Catchers have a wristband with numbers that look like the Mayan Calender. 2 seamers, 4 seamers, cut fastballs, 2 types of curves, 3 types of sliders, multiple change ups AND...then you have location. Wow! The catcher has to be a math genius to figure it all out. Then...someone in the dugout has to be smart enough to call the right pitch from all those choices. Once upon a time, 1 was a fastball, 2 was a curve and 3 was off speed. Cy Young and Walter Johnson did pretty well with that system. TR should get a smart pitching coach and the run the rest of the Program. Then take credit for for how well he manages the Program. But NOOOO!!!
