An SEC legacy who has started at Tampa (Fla.) Catholic High School since freshman year,
Eddy Pierre-Louis
has been in the recruiting spotlight for several years.
The interior talent, ranked among the top 30 recruits nationally within the Rivals100, has racked up more than 40 scholarship offers in the process. On Sunday, however, that list was trimmed way down to a final five contenders.
In-state Miami, UCF, Oklahoma, Oregon and Texas A&M remain in play for the nation's second-ranked guard prospect.
"I'm getting a jump on my decision," Pierre-Louis told Rivals. "I have to drop my top five first."
The blue-chipper broke each contender down ahead of the public announcement.
