Since we're facing the real possibility of several kids wanting to transfer, I was wondering if any of the board members could break down what those kids would be facing if they choose to go that way?
When do they have to declare their intent?
Do they lose scholarship funds immediately?
Do the players have to transfer as a walk on and hope to make the team/scholarship at the new school?
What sort of communication are coaches at other schools allowed to have with our players?
I know we've had one or two kids transfer in or out each season, so I know this stuff happens pretty regularly. More or less I'm just looking at how all of this stuff would go down in an official manner from a curiosity standpoint since those numbers will likely be higher this year.
