Some pretty damning accusations that Trump participated in underage sex parties with notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, including witness testimony. It very well may be BS, but there could be some truth to this. Why hasn't the media shouted this out?
They should. All politicians should be grilled, and if this is being accused, then go after it. That's the purpose of the US media. The article stupidly starts with Trump's sexist history, which rarely factors in, but definitely hits on his other history, where there are gag orders involved. Trump, being stupid and brash, says things from time-to-time, which free these women to re-assert their prior statements as "still true." Those are very, very valid accusations from his history.
That said ... I just think the US media is also concerned that if they jump on this too quickly, they will cause a lot of cruft to come up about Bill Clinton, among others, especially with Hillary's tandem non-sense of
"We should believe all women by default in the case of sexual assault" with
"But not my husband's accusers, only 'legitimate accusers'.'" Heck, if I was Trump, I might leak this on-purpose, to cause such consternation in the Clinton camp.
For now it seems to be limited to the
Huffington Post et al. If
The Atlantic dives into it, then I'll pay attention. Their articles one of the few, critically thinking Liberal outlets out there, and often full of detail you never get in the mainstream press. And yes, for those of you who have seen
The Atlantic's articles, you can understand why I like them. They challenge the length of my posts.
But the election will become before any resolution here. And it will drag into his Presidency if he's elected, just like Bill's did. Make no mistake, Trump has a crapload of baggage. Just because he's forward with his sexism, doesn't mean he should be any more or less of a target. His history is almost as bad as Bill's, although Bill takes the cake ... and, worse yet, Hillary being the ultimate hypocrite as not just a past enabler, but the "cleaning lady."
