Let’s not think that Trump is being completely reckless. Should he use his authority to block this? He will get criticized either way

It doesn't matter at this point. Open it up, keep it closed, we've already passed zero hour. We should have risked the hospitals being overrun and keep the engine running.

Wow! This confuses my maga. He said Liberate Georgia before that.

People are getting out anyway. The focus needs to be on the stores that are open to handle a setup that you can shop without creating the major spread. The cashiers need to be protected as a top priority.

You liberals hear what you want to hear. That’s why you’re all confused. Liberals are very “stuffy” people I’m learning.

“Liberate Georgia” at the right time according to the laid out guidelines He’s a Republican governor by the way

This is what is som frustrating about several of you guys. It’s common knowledge he supported Georgia opening and promoted it. He had to be convinced it was politically advantageous to make the statement he did to disagree.
Why do you spin this crap? Why is it that you can just speak the truth. He walked back his previous position for political reasons. No credibility

Why can’t it just be that the Governor is going all out on reopening too aggressively and soon despite the numbers not being great?

I can’t decide if you just have no idea what is going on or just blindly stick your head in the sand.
I live 2 miles from the White House and granted I get very good insight on the workings and what’s going on. But to not understand what and how this played out is just blatant disregard for reality and spin for your team. So sad. This is exactly what I keep talking about. Until everyone objectively analyses and calls balls and strikes we are going to continue down a bad road.

Georgia’s governor is doing what he’s doing to please Trump. If you can see that you then it’s useless continuing

Then it’s useless. You’re saying Trump wants him to open gyms too? You’re saying that Trump is disagreeing with him in the media and behind the scenes, they are scamming America?

I have no evidence that Trump is having private conversations with Kemp and this all choreographed. Based on what I know to be true and past performance, I’d say it highly likely.
Simply based on public record statements alone you have to believe Trump wanted this and walked back Because his handlers convinced him. If Georgia works out he’ll sing it’s praises and take credit. If it does not he’s on record now. It’s politics.
Personally I think Kemp is taking a huge gamble. We’ll see ... if I lived in Ga I’d be hesitant to go to tattoo parlors and massage.

Possibly, but he’s now on record for publicly admonishing it.
Yes but after promoting it. We agree it was the right thing to do politically but everyone should wish he would not flip flop in his public stance. First it hot then it’s cold.

Member that time when Obama and Hillary were in favor of traditional marriage?

What? I’m going to give this a try but I know it’s going nowhere.

can you please explain the relevance of this post? I mean it’s fairly obvious that it’s not relevant to the conversation but I’m just curious what you were seeking when you posted this comment?

what completely to derail the current conversation?
Was it to point out some weird obsession with traditional marriage or Hillary and Obama?

Im serious. Not trying to flame you but please explain what your intent here was? Because I’m just lost at the purpose.

Trump is a politician like any other. They change their stance when the wind changes direction for political purposes. Im not saying its excusable or a good thing, but its existed since the beginning of politics. LBJ would be a great example in how he went from being racist to signing the civil rights act. Getting mad at Trump for what he's doing is fine, but it certainly isn't unprecedented

I get that but I don’t think anyone is arguing that point. It just seems like what you posted was just blatant hyperbole. It serves no point or contribution to the discussion. It made it seem like all you want to do is throw out hate speech.
I don’t get it? If you want to talk about how politicians change positions that’s fine but you went south really fast.

why is that something you think is needed it adds value to the conversation?

Pointless hate speech
