Trump's CIA Speech

Since everyone is up in arms over women marching yesterday, I thought I would share what really pissed me off and it wasn't a bunch of people with signs and "pussyhats."

It's the fact that Trump used the CIA memorial wall as a staging ground for his speech. There are 117 stars on that wall for 117 lives that were given in service to this country. Some of those names, we will never know. It's a memorial wall, not a press back drop and it shouldn't have been used for a "look at me" moment.

He of course was well within is right to go and speak to the CIA. In fact, I would encourage it. He needs to mend some fences over there. Too bad most of his speech centered around complaining about the media and inauguration attendance and arguing over how many people in the room voted for him. A very political speech, to an unpolitical crowd.

He was there to announce his pick for the CIA director which the democrats promised him they would approve Friday but decided to play games with his cabinet even though they can't stop a thing if the republicans decide to stop their games. I disagree with him going into attendance stuff during the speech but his speech about the CIA was scheduled and planned well before Friday.

Ok? Like I said, I have no problem with him going there. Just like I don't really have a problem with Pompeo. But using the memorial wall as a presser and back drop to his speech was inappropriate.

Here's one. Trump "I will release tax returns when i'm not under audit." Today- Trump won't release tax returns. But not to worry, we're going to get a wall and Mexico is going to pay for it.

So Trump not releasing his taxes is more concerning to you than the Dem's not allowing for a CIA director. Pretty showing really, what is funny is the forms that he had to fill out to run that are private are far more revealing than his taxes. The issue to you is you want to see it so you and your ilk can rip him about what he owns, does not own and what he may be worth. Taxes only show you what you earned that year as well as what income comes from that year, it does not show net worth and any involvement in foreign countries would have had to be disclosed to the federal elections commission so once again, his taxes mean nothing.
