South Korean President Moon Jae-in credited U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday for helping to spark the first inter-Korean talks in more than two years, and warned that Pyongyang would face stronger sanctions if provocations continued. …

Seoul and Pyongyang agreed at Tuesday’s talks, the first since December 2015, to resolve all problems between them through dialogue and also to revive military consultations so that accidental conflict could be averted.

“I think President Trump deserves big credit for bringing about the inter-Korean talks, I want to show my gratitude,” Moon told reporters at his New Year’s news conference. “It could be a resulting work of the U.S.-led sanctions and pressure.”

lmao the desperate shilling for Trump from you two nuthuggers is hilarious.

Newsflash: they say this every time there is a press conference. Do you think the sitting president of the ROK is going to say their biggest ally is a POS? The reality is we are closer to a war on the Korean peninsula than anytime in the recent past, and our CinC is making penis references about nuclear buttons on twitter. And people on here are actually praising him.

Source from the previous South Korean and US Presidents:

Park said the U.S.-South Korea alliance “is playing a pivotal role for the peace and stability of not only the Korean Peninsula, but the entire region.”

You’re right again. We all believe you more than the Korean leader. You know best.

Deflecting like a true 4 stepper. So predictable. Next comes ignoring and then you bro rage and call me a slew of insults and then whine and bitch that all I do on here is insult you.

Glad we got that all out of the way so we can start the next four step process, please start us off by posting something completely stupid again.

If you keep calling him on his BS, he's going to block you.

As someone who does work with both the US military and the ROK MND, I can tell you that the American media is normally full of shit when it comes to the situation over there. Most of the analysts also either don’t get the Korean mentality or ignore it to make whatever narrative their side is selling. Koreans believe in negotiation from positions of strength first and foremost. The previous appeasement strategy around the world did far more to embolden the dictator than anything Trump has done.

In addition to the corruption that brought down the last president, she was also taking a huge amount of heat for being a puppet for the US. I still have a pamphlet the North dropped from a balloon in Seoul that makes that point, and many in the South agreed with it. So I’m thinking that the new President will at least think twice before coming out that strongly in favor of Trump.

Trump has done business in South Korea for years. I think it’s safe to say that he understands Koreans and how to negotiate with Koreans far better than the idiot pundits on TV and any of us know-it-all’s on this board.

No. He’s a moron and has nothing to do with anything going on. Ninja knows best and he’s right. Again.

You and Kim Jong Un have this in common: you are both infallible, and never wrong.

Just like him, you shot a hole in one on every hole the first time you played golf and quit on account of being too easy. And the caddy being an idiot!
.
Ummmm ok... Have you been drinking again? I'm used to your arguments not making much sense but this is just weird.

hey now, dont be using racists terms in the wc....

I'm assuming everyone who is offended by "shithole" has never called the other side of the tracks the "ghetto/hood" before, right?

Peoples' sense of self righteousness cracks me the hell up. They can protest by not taking their new doubled child tax credit. My bad, I forgot, we're only offended when it's convenient and popular...

Dems: "Mr President, These countries are such shitholes, we MUST give these people protected status! To not do so would be cruel!"

Trump: "Ok, Why do we want people from shithole countries?"

Media: "ZOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG"

His name starts with ninja and ends with knight.

Ahahaha guess I can add you to the list my obsessed WC bitches.

Just think though, without me you would still be an ignorant piece of trailer trash that has absolutely no idea how the first amendment works.

I've referred to places as the hood. I recognize that everyone has a little bigot in them. And at the same time I recognize that places like Haiti are terrible places to live with rampant corruption, poor infrastructure, etc, which is why I don't blame them for wanting to come here especially if they try to do so legally. I also recognize these countries are the way they are because they were raped for their resources and slaves for centuries and then dumped by their colonial masters leaving people with no education or sense of governance to rule over these lands which still breeds the corruption that we see today.

But at the same time I am not the President of the United States. I'm sorry that I believe that the person in the most powerful position in the world should be held to a higher standard than just us regular folks. But at the same time i'm not really surprised. He's shown over and over and over that he truly is a racist piece of human garbage from his comments about Obama's birth certificate, to comments on Mexican-American judges, to his support for the good on all sides "white supremacists", to let's have more immigration of white Norwegians and less shit from brown Haiti and Africa.

There really isn't anyway to spin it anymore. He is a racist plain and simple.

Yea- he's a racist. Nazi. KKK member. Got it. Yawn.

As to your last point; this was a PRIVATE conversation. Do you really believe that in 8 years, Obama never used curse words to describe certain policies? Do you think he never said something shitty that during a private meeting? Of course he did. The only difference now is that we have RESISTANCE! morons working for Democratic Senators who think it's their duty to run to the papers every time they hear something that they want to create a shit storm with.

Liberals spend so much time telling us what shitholes these countries are in a bid to allow for people to come in under protected status. Then there's a massive uproar when the President is caught agreeing that they're shitholes. The only difference is that he questioned why we'd bring them in, whereas liberals want protected status.

Haiti is a shithole. I don't know how else you can even rationalize it.

trump is brash and does not have a way with words. obama was superior in that aspect.

that said, the uproar over him calling those places a sh;t hole and then calling him a racist for it will only help him win in 2020.

Here's the difference- Obama, Bush, etc. were smart enough to know when they could say whatever they wanted and who they were talking to. Trump on the other hand is an impulsive idiot who is utterly despised by more than half the country right now and most of the global community. If he isn't smart enough to have figured that out by now that whatever he says, especially if its another racist comment will be used against him, that's his problem.

And seeing as how most of the leaks coming from the white house come from his own staffers, I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of his people simply trying to undermine him further.

i dont think he cares what people think of him. and honestly when he negotiates, he normally does it from a position of power. those petty opinions of him mean nothing then.

but hey, keep calling him a racist for calling some bad countries you would never visit because deep down you know they are sh;t holes. you are doing your small part to help get trump re-elected in 2020.

Do you really believe he stands a chance in 2020? The Dems won't be running terrible Hillary Clinton again and they won't ignore Michigan, Wisconsin, and other places again either. What they will be going up against is a current President with a 37% approval rating and a 55% disapproval rating in an economy that is BOOMING.

That is completely unheard of.

People everywhere including his own party already question his mental competency, and even some within his own base (which by itself cannot win an election) are already turning on him.

I think in the US history, the incumbent hasnt won only 3 separate times. Also, I have a feeling people will vote with their pocketbook. People are going to like getting more of their tax money back. I think he will focus on repealing or replacing Obamacare in 2018. If he can do that successfully, I dont think it will matter who they run.

Normally I would agree with you. The economy is on fire, and I for one am not someone who is going to complain about getting more in my paycheck from what would normally be taxed. But at the same time the economy is going bonkers and Trump's approval rating is lower than any president in modern history. That cannot be overlooked.

Now add in that the midterm elections are trending towards the dems even when it shouldn't when you look at the states they are running in, people of all parties are questioning his mental state, the Russia investigation is looming, and he's likely to face a steep challenge even in his own party. This is no slam dunk for Donny.

You just presented a lot as fact that is really just your opinion.

The only people I've seen "questioning his mental state" are Democrats who obsessively wanted to impeach him from Day 1, and media pundits who are taking this Fire and Fury book as Gospel. The few reputable journalists left out there all condemned this idiotic talk about "his mental state!" since it's pure punditry and trash.

Just before Christmas his approval rating was roughly at the same spot as where Obama's was after his Year 1. And a lot of his low approval rating was simply due to the inability to meet what his base wanted.

The Dems are looking better for 2018 than in 2016, which isn't saying much, but this talk of a "wave" is completely overblown. The fact is that most of the House and Senate races still tilt heavily in Republican favor, in many conservative districts and states. And while the D's did a great job trying to scare everyone over taxes, the fact is that they'll be running in 2018 with an economy that is finally pressing up against 3.5-4% growth. Good luck.

As for the "Russia investigation looming"- it's looming because Democrats want it to. It's absolutely insane that it's been over 1 year since it began and there is talk of it going another year. It's pathetic and a sham. Mueller either needs to wrap this up already or justify why his inept office can't do this in less than 2 years.

Maybe 2019. With midterms, I would imagine it being a fairly stale year in Congress.
