With the injured coming back we will see the real state of the team.

I'm still not sure if Holman has improved much from last season. We will see...

If we win Saturday's game, they ought to let the bar giving out free beer display the UCONN
trophy in their establishment for being good sports.

It's a stupid decision in an ultimately meaningless season. We're almost halfway through the season and does anyone feel like we're playing in mid season form?

I don't think it will be much better. Just too many new guys.

Actually, as much as I also say "we'll see," I honestly think we won't.

Holman had a much more experienced receiving core last year than he does this year, a wholesale change. So Holman's performance this year is very limited by the experience around him, compared to last year.

That said ... the more game time Holman can get with the receiving core, the better he will be with them. So while I generally agree a medical redshirt would be nice (the NCAA granting it could be another story), time with the receivers will matter in the end; at least in coming seasons.

We're really playing for next season at this point, if not the next two seasons.

Seconded! At least let them keep it for a game ... a patrons come in, and have to pay this time. Would be a good win-win for everyone.

Everyone acts like a medical redshirt is likely. truth is he is healthy enough to play, and it is very unlikely.
Medical redshirt for what, right? He's been clear to play since before the SC game, making throws in practice and everything. The NCAA will not grant it so it's a waste of time.
