The search committee for a successor to retiring Tulane athletic director Rick Dickson will have its first meeting Friday morning, and one member said he does not expect a long, drawn-out process.
On Sept. 25, Dickson announced he would step down at the end of June after 15 years on the job.
“I think the committee is committed, if you will, to get this position filled promptly,” said Jerry Greenbaum, a Board of Tulane member and one of nine people on the search committee. “It will not be dragged out over an extended period of time.”
