What about discounting common sense avoidance? Stating the obvious. One campaign has no cases that we know of and one has more than the percent of cases in the population with the president in the hospital. But I guess you can spin it as you see fit.

Initially, our country had a PPE crisis to address because we were ill-prepared for a pandemic. After that, if we had come together as a nation last March to embrace a few simple, straightforward safety practices, our infection rate would be low and extremely manageable to address with rapid testing. Under those circumstances, we'd be well on our way to economic recovery even before a vaccine.
Fortunately, that's our future once we have responsible leadership again.

Interesting that a 74 year-old obese president might be discharged in less than a week after having symptoms. Does that really spell a scary virus?

Maybe if the White House took this virus more seriously, they wouldn't have a bunch of people in quarantine.

Half of all covid deaths are among people that have passed average life expectancy, so I'd say 100,000 is a reasonable starting point if we are talking about the actual threat to life. No idea how many of those 100,000 were likely to die this year anyway, but I'd guess it would be more than 20%.
Really. Please don’t play ignorant. You’re better than that. You’d not wish this on your elderly parents and you know it. If he checks out early it may mean they diagnosed him earlier than explained and he went to the debate knowing he was infected.

It’s deadly to the old/very old, sickly, mostly with preexisting conditions. Just like a lot of infections. Trump is an average 74 year old. Minimal risk to die

I don't blame Biden for isolating himself. He's pretty old and is what most people would consider frail and susceptible to any disease.

Unless you’re going to have a media that acts identically with both administrations, it’s very hard to compare them. Managing public emotion is a large part of pandemic response. Having the majority of the media attack every statement that you make increases the difficulty in managing the public exponentially.
