UCF on path towards preeminent status
One thing that's often overlooked in conference realignment is academic standing, yet that's one thing that university presidents do take into consideration.
The link I posted at the top of this is from 2016, showing a 5 year path for UCF to obtain preeminent status within the state university system (currently only UF, FSU, and the cows). I didn't see anything in my search that we've obtained that. Did that process get delayed or even canceled?
I also happened to see a story in the Tampa Times that the cows were making a hard push for an AAU invitation, and that FSU already met AAU requirements?
