UCF adds New Hampshire in 2024

New Hampshire in August, in the Bounce House heat. they will fall out with heat stroke after the 1st quarter. Sheesh…
This is a joke. We "Might" have played NH 30 years ago (Div II). That's what they are no matter what they call themselves. Check their Div II schedule. Last year they played Pitt and lost 77-7. At lease schedule a patsy that's regional like. This game should not count on the record. Professional college football has become a huge farce.
It is simply a practice game. You get to give tons of kid's playing time while working out any kinks on the first game.
most P5 teams have those types of schools on the schedule. 2024 schedule will be more than tough enough.

Wouldn't be surprised if ooc schedule gets weaker going forward.

Gotta replace USF with someone. Seems a strength-of-schedule wash to me.
It's another home game and in August. Also a chance to see alot of players. Downside no chance of prime time hopefully covered on the plus. Maybe a 7pm kickoff I would assume.
I believe we have Liberty and UF that year, no need to worry about the strength of schedule imo.
2024. Considering most teams are scheduled up to the teeth for a decade, this is what you get.
Disappointed as well...I'd rather have an in-state school, FAMU, BCC, USF, FAU/FIU...etc At least you've have some other in-state visitors. I don't see many UNH fans traveling for the game.
It's fine. I like our FCS team to be in-state too but there's only two I can think of. Some years we have to go out of state to mix it up. In that case teams from neighboring states would be cool (Mercer, Kennesaw State, etc.). That said, I can't find it in me to be disappointed or mad about where our FCS opponents come from.

New Hampshire and Sam Houston State for 2 of our 3 OOC games in 2024 (the other one is at The Swamp). Sad opponents but it is what it is. Not going to complain since we're playing in the Big 12. We have a seat at the main table and have nothing to complain about. Any schedule issues should get resolved after a few years of us playing 9 conference games each year. Almost every "big" team out there has future schedules where they play 2 scrubs one season (not every season).
Damn. Should be included as "post of the year" candidate. Short, sweet and 100% true (and it berates USF to boot). Would make a great t-shirt.

Will probably be a "garbage" opponent for 2023 but again, once we get past 2023 and 2024 we should be good.
FCS is D1. Same as FBS. A and AA used to be the differences.
new hampshire is a FCS school and their conference (colonial) is one of the better FCS ones, so i don't see what the big deal is. we're adding 9 "power 5" opponents, 5 at home.

After the lame covid season im just thankful when we get to play games with fans in the stands
What was worse was being at a game and the "mask patrol" constantly bugging us to keep our mask over our nose and mouth even when we are drinking, and nobody is sitting within 15 seats in any direction. I'll never attend a game again where that is mandated. It drained all the humanity out of the experience. Me and my crew will instead just meet up at someone's house and actually enjoy the game.
I never had a problem with mask requirements during that time but I grew pretty sick of them about half way through 2021.
