Apparently FAU will travel to us in 2018 and we will travel down to Boca in 2019.

Nothing better than short car ride road trips. (Something UCF really doesn't have in non-conf or even conf game road trips other than trip to Tampa every other year and the series with FIU).

Hope UCF continues to play future road games in Palm Beach and Dade counties as its important to stay in touch with a growing UCF Alumni base down there...plus help reach future/potential UCF students too.
ly doesn't ha

FAU's lil inflatable pools for the "Cove" in the corner end zone

Believe FAU eliminated one of the inflatable pools last year as Student game attendance fell less than 10 per game.

this should be a warm up game for UCF now.

I remember a few years ago in the citrus bowl, we were all expecting a huge blow-out of FAU....Kruz was coach.....and it came down to 2 seconds on the clock, and FAU throwing a pass for a touchdown for a win...and the catch was not made.....that's when we started really rolling down hill with Coach Kruz.

Please excuse my lack of structured sentences...

This game is OK. Easy win, nice roadtrip, nice stadium, and good looking snooty women.

Maybe playing F_U every year is the answer to our scheduling problems. Looks like we'll be playing BCC for the next 3 years due to our P5 scheduling of 2 for 1's and 1 and done's.

OOC could look like this.

-FAU
-FIU
-BYU
-P5 opponent.

Then if we have to sign a 1 and done or 2 for 1, we can sign BCC for the same year. Should fix our scheduling problems in the next 5 years or so. Attendance would be up too.

Like playing Florida teams but UCF should of gotten more than 1-1 with FAU. Watch FAU will do what FIU did and make season tickets same price as UCF game, thus forcing other fanbase to buy season tic for one game. Hope UCF fans wait and buy at stadium thus not giving more than FAU deserves.

That said like not traveling for away game, but has little appell to avg knight fan who does not travel.

I would say there will be a pretty full stadium in Boca when we play them. The place only holds 35K. They can draw a decent crowd of 10-15K if playing UCF. IMHO

Yesssss!!!!!!!!! Wooooohoooooo!!!! I can't believe UCF leadership was able to make this happen! I am so freaking stoked! My season ticket value just doubled. Awesome!

Actually their small stadium capacity is just under 30,000...which most of that stadium's home crowds coming in under 10,000 per game (some even under 5,000 per game).

UCF Game will be their SuperBowl game that year...but hope UCF can bring down 10,000 fans for that one.

It seats 29,419 to be exact.

UCF doesn't have the money to do 2 for 1s with FBS schools. $1M plus for buy games is the going rate (I think we got 1.5M for the body bag at Michigan). I doubt UCF even clears that much for home games.

I'm not sure why the animosity towards body bag games. If you're happy being conference champion there's no need to worry about being fed to the P5 monsters for 1.5 to 2 mil a pop. Toss Bama, Michigan and Oregon for all i care. Thats 5 to 6 million revenue amiright?

I hate one-and-dones because I think we've been in FBS long enough now, and accomplished enough, that we shouldn't have to play at someone else's place with no return game. I understand why we scheduled the one with Michigan ($$$$$, obviously), but I think going back to scheduling that way on a regular basis would be a horrible idea.

I'm actually excited about the games with FAU. In state team. Easy to travel to. I live in south florida so it's an easy away game to go to.

Miami is also doing a home and home with them. They play at FAU next year. I certainly don't think we're above doing a home and home with FAU. We expect other power 5's to do home and homes with us. Yet, we're somehow above a home and home with FAU.

FAU is doing good things but I find they are worst than UCF fan-base in 2007. A lot of talk of being better without history of doing so.

UCF can't have down game vs a F_U.
