Not sure if this was posted before so figured I would share it. A friend of mine from UCF undergrad writes the column so just trying to share it, especially for UCF fans who don't follow it.

I remember attending the 2000 matchup between UCF and Georgia Tech in Atlanta (George O'Leary was the GT head coach at the time). That was a game we should've won. We had a 10-point lead in the 2nd half and let it slip away. I'd like us to sweep the two upcoming games with the Yellow Jackets and even things out.

I was at that game Matt! One of the most disappointing road game I have ever traveled to.!

It's good to see these games with real teams finally being scheduled- but UCF will always be in the 'awkward zone' for better teams. We're too good to be an 'easy A' as a schedule filler so teams which have a hard schedule will not choose UCF if it's not a guaranteed win.
