UCF Athletics Hosts Tito’s Handmade Vodka x Varsity Knights Turkey Drive, Tito’s Makes $10,000 Donation
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Tito’s Handmade Vodka has teamed up with UCF Athletics. Through this collaboration, Love, Tito’s the philanthropic heart of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, lends a hand to UCF’s local community in Orlando each fall and spring semester, making a meaningful impact during key moments of the year.
This football season, Tito’s teamed up with UCF Athletics for its “Tito’s Tackles for Turkeys” promotion. For every quarterback sack that UCF football records, Tito’s donates $200 towards purchasing and distributing pre-cooked Thanksgiving meals for underserved residents in Orlando, up to a $10,000 donation from Tito’s to support this cause.
On Tuesday, Nov. 26, Tito’s and Varsity Knights brought the community together for their Thanksgiving meal drive in the spirit of giving and gratitude. Set up at the UCF downtown campus, the distribution area at the corner of Bentley Street and N. Terry Avenue featured branded tents and tables from Tito’s and UCF, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all. Meals delivered to the site’s loading dock were organized on pallets to streamline the work of volunteers.

Varsity Knights, UCF’s student-athlete alumni program, joined forces with the Tito’s team to distribute Thanksgiving meals this holiday season. Each Thanksgiving meal box serves 8-10 people. In total, over 1,000 local residents benefited from this initiative. The event ensures that members of the Orlando community could celebrate with a Thanksgiving meal, regardless of their circumstances.
