Baseball is already a tough sell. Then you add mediocre start, your best opponents are weekday games around 6pm (where the best pitchers are resting), and your weekend match ups over the next month consist of Savannah State, Wagner, Siena, and Chicago State.

Yeah, the two back to back losses Sat and Sunday hurts. Close games though.

Using Warren Nolan but if there's a more reliable one that is closer to the selection committee please share.
Samford moved up 52 spots after beating us...so they were in the low 100s.
Southern Conference is the 11th best rpi wise.

Rice is a perennial powerhouse. If baseball was a big deal in college sports, CUSA probably wouldve received a gigantic TV deal.
