The UCF Knights baseball team swept the Siena Saints to open the 2023 season. Behind Ben McCabe and Nick Romano, the Knights scored a combined 35 runs in the three game series. Not to be outdone, the Knights pitching staff, led by Ruddy Gomez and Dom Stagliano held the Saints to just 7 runs over the course of the weekend. Head Coach Greg Lovelady was pleased with the all-around performance, but knows there is still a lot of season left to be played.
