UCF returns to CFE Arena in good spirits on Saturday night to take on Illinois-Chicago after defeating in-state rival Stetson, 94-85, earlier in the week. The Knights are 2-3 on the year with their three losses being by a combined seven points.
The Knights have been balanced offensively with five players averaging nine or more points a game. Adonys Henriquez leads that bunch with 11.8 points per game, while Tacko Fall (11.0) and Shaheed Davis (10.8) are also averaging double-digit points.
Fall has come on strong lately, scoring in double digits each of the last three games. Last game against Stetson, he posted career-highs in points (23) and rebounds (11) to earn his first career double-double. The 7-foot-6 center currently ranks fifth in the NCAA in field goal percentage (71.4) and 13th in blocks per game (2.80).

BLOCK PARTYTai Odiase has established himself as one of the nation's leading shot blockers. Odiase, who ranks in the top 50 nationally with 2.2 blocks per game, sent back a career-high five shots against San Francisco in the season opener (Nov. 13), including three in the first 1:39 of the contest. The team blocked a total of nine shots in that game, the most for a UIC squad since Feb. 5, 2009, vs. Cleveland State. The Flames lead the Horizon League and rank 54th nationally with 5.0 blocks per game this season.
LINEUP SHUFFLESteve McClain has used five different starting lineups through the first five games. Eight different Flames have received a nod, while Tai Odiase and Dikembe Dixson have opened all five games. UIC opened its last contest vs. DePaul with a sophomore (Odiase) and four true freshmen (Dixson, Drew Hackett, Dominique Matthews and Julian Torres).
