JoJo Woods couldn't have asked for a better start to his senior season.
A week after his diving outfield catch landed him the No. 1 play on ESPN SportsCenter, Woods was the hero in UCF's 5-4 walk-off win against No. 18 Ole Miss on Friday night. With Kam Gellinger standing at second base after coming in to pinch run after James Vasquez's double, Woods delivered a two-out RBI single to left field which clinched best start in school history (9-0) for UCF Baseball.
During the postgame interview, Woods got a pie in the face from Matt Diorio.
Stay tuned for more from the game, including a photo gallery. UCF goes for the series win on Saturday at 4 p.m.
