Colorado fired Karl Dorrell today after their 0-5 start. This was his third season in Boulder. They were 4-2 in the abbreviated season of 2020, then went 4-8 in 2021 and 0-5 this year and four consecutive 25+ point losses.
Just repeating something I heard years ago... maybe @UCF_Video can correct me on the year if I'm incorrect, but Colorado was very interested in George O'Leary at one time. I think it was following the 2005 season when Gary Barnett was forced to resign, the job that ultimately went to Dan Hawkins at Boise State. Unless it was post-2010 when Hawkins was canned and they ended up hiring Jon Embree?
Anyway, GOL told them, "Thanks, but no thanks."
