UCF Depth Chart

Thus saith the Frost!

Probably just taken from observing the two starting teams in the spring game.

Ok. :)

Accuracy of me pissing in the wind and hitting China > The accuracy of that depth chart.

Ugh.., 5 more weeks until the season starts.

You need to hit the beach tomorrow, get drunk and pass out KnightVision82.

When you wake up and get home, it will be 4 weeks and 6 days. I feel your pain.

I'm at the beach and typing on my I-Phone...

Didn't realize people get so sensitive about trying to look at talent we have
in this difficult spot between two coaching regimes and try to make some
sort of sense about this upcoming season and what we should expect.

Wasn't trying to start a pissing in the wind contest UCFMikes.

Great. That was me yesterday!

No worries and no contest implied.

Just saying that since there's no football going on that a lot of us fans are just searching for any news to get excited about regarding UCF. Any article predicting our possible record this year or even depth chart (if you run across one), wouldn't be as accurate as a prediction or depth chart made by most people on this board.

I've read some articles in the past that includes players that weren't even still on the roster and ones that omitted players that were.

The prime cause of uncertainty is new coaches and a whole new system with new positions and responsibilities. Add to that a young, developing team last year that went through a traumatic experience, so film is especially meaningless. On the other hand, this being a rebuilding year and the thinness of proven performance, first team is pretty obvious for the handful of returning guys with experience and numbers. Also, with many more downs per game, we'll be going deep into the second and even third team as well as frosh than GOL ever did, especially for RB and pass rushers. In games where we are being routed (e.g., in game 2 Michigan) and in high scoring games, first team designation won't mean as much I presume. But it should mostly be more fun than the run-out-the-clock offense and containment defense of the past decade.
