UCF Football’s Fall From Penthouse to Outhouse Can Only Be Blamed On George O’Leary

That "article" from an apparent feature writer cites the only reason GOL is to blame is because he's also the interim AD? Brilliant analysis. Lazy.

Its amazing how the huggers refuse to blame O'Leary for any failure with his program, but he sure deserves all the credit for any success does he? "Its not who you play, its that youre playing." #thanksgol #thanksobama

There's lots of blame to go around -- including GOL. Youth, tons of injuries, execution, assistant coaches.

I'm in the camp that wants to see GOL go, but the fact is we're in a bad place and don't think another rebuilding project is good with at the wheel. It very well could have been bad luck that got us here and not GOL. Get the man his statue and let's move on. Stop worrying about blame.

Bortles deserves a statue more than GOL
Yes. Bortles is the one who recruited himself when no one else would. He recruited two NFL wide receivers, one running back and a pretty good offensive line. He recruited an NFL safety , linebacker and cornerback and created his own offense. He also game planes for his opponents, ran practice and instilled discipline in the players.

This is just ad bad as the 24K arguments before the Fiesta bowl win. GOL is a good, albeit, inconsistent coach. I'm fine with whatever is decided on his future with the program. Mostly because I can't pinpoint what is wrong from outside the program. I know Key has seemingly done a poor job and doesn't really help his young qb,.but I also don't know how limited he is in his ability.
