Has our pathetic self-sponsored holiday tournament been axed? If so I'm torn, It WAS always right before Christmas and never had any legit teams but it WAS the only tournament we could ever hope to win.
If people start supporting the basketball team maybe things can get done. We used to get 2,500 students a game and nearly filled the lower bowl every game.

I still recall our upset of defending national champ UConn in the second round of the fall tourney in the Bahamas (exhausted squad missed like 30 free throws against Harvard in the finals). Wife insisted I move something heavy during a commercial, I slipped and fell breaking it, ran back bleeding all over so not to miss a moment. She never understood. That was a tourney. Incidentally, UConn is on our home schedule this February.
