Tyler (Tex.) Community College offensive lineman Craig Smith committed to USF one week ago, but a couple days later scheduled an official visit to UCF following a visit from offensive line coach Greg Austin.
The West Palm Beach native had this to say about the weekend:
"I liked the campus and what it had to offer," Smith said in a message. "The coaches were cool, straightforward and had a great vision and mentality coming into a new school."
I asked whether he was solid with USF or thinking things over, but he didn't respond. That was early this afternoon. I'll let you know if I'm abot to get any more out of him.
West Virginia has also been recruiting him and they're hoping to host him on a visit next weekend.
