A week after his official visit, Chris Mulumba announced he will be signing with UCF.
The Pleasant Hill (Calif.) Diablo Valley Community College prospect was in Orlando last Tuesday through Thursday and he also visited Fresno State (Jan. 15), Central Michigan (Jan. 22) and New Mexico (Jan. 29).
He was an All-Conference selection as a sophomore, recording 63 tackles (33 solo), nine tackles for loss and three sacks.
Defensive end has been the primary position for the 6-foot-4, 270-pounder, but he could project to play an interior position. He has three years left to play two seasons.
He was born in the Republic of the Congo and raised in Helsinki, Finland.
